How to Swap to the Herb Chamber
The herb chamber seats onto the same heater as your crucible and locks in with the same retention ring, so no separate tools are needed.

- Power off the EQ and unscrew the retention ring to remove the crucible and O-ring.
- Seat the Electric Ceramic Herb Chamber onto the base.
- Place the O-ring back on and screw the retention ring down until snug.
- Load your ground herb, set your temperature on the touchscreen, and draw slow.
It's worth noting that Davinci says that dry herb vaporization is technically possible with the quartz crucible, but results will tend to move towards combustion style.
360 Ceramic Heating vs. the Crucible's Bottom Heat
The quartz and zirconia crucibles heat concentrate from the bottom up, which works well with dabs they melt into the center and form into a pool. Dry herb doesn't work that way. A dry herb bowl needs to heat evenly from multiple directions, or the bottom will overheat while the top barely warms. That's why this ceramic chamber is built like a well, heating the entire herb rather than just the bottom.
