The Davinci EQ Zirconia Crucible is a part of the Davinci EQ E Rig. It's a secondary option that you can switch in for the Quartz crucible. The Zirconia version is better at retaining and maintaining heat, and lasts longer because of its better-quality material, which in general lasts longer. The crucible is set on top of the heater (heater not included), and it is built modularly (parts that need to be assembled).

How to Install the Zirconia Crucible
The Davinci EQ is modular in design, so installing the Crucible is easy, but requires a few moving parts.
Here's how to install the Zirconia Crucible:
- Power off the EQ and unscrew the retention ring to remove the old crucible and O-ring.
- Place the new Zirconia3 Crucible onto the heater.
- Place the O-ring back on and screw the retention ring down until snug.
- Power on the Davinci EQ and start your sessions as usual.

Zirconia is a dense material, it is basically a high quality ceramic that holds heat well and is not as porous as ceramic, so vapor stays cleaner for longer. Cleaning the Zirconia Crucible
Swab out the crucible while it's still warm from your last session, since residue comes off zirconia more easily when it's warm than once it's cooled and hardened. For a deeper clean, remove the crucible from the heater and soak it in isopropyl alcohol(20-30 minutes), then rinse and dry it fully before putting it back on.
