One of the best units out there!
So almost bought the newest Puffco Pro but that $500 plus price tags and past dislike of inserts had me try this out. The price may have brought me but this product outshines the Puffco by far. It's almost what the Pro should've been from the start. Taste is amazing, cloud it generates is amazing, keeping it clean is easy, and it doesn't waste concentrates. The holder protects the unit well. Only knock is that my charging cord comes out easy. 4.9 out of 5 for me. So very well done!

Mostly fantastic with a few minor drawbacks
Overall the Utillian 8 lives up to the hype, mostly. It should be noted that the buildup around the atomizer coil is rather severe. If not seated %100 the residue can leak into the threads and cause it to not function. Not entirely difficult to clean (hot Isopropyl alcohol and glob mops) but still annoying. Furthermore the battery life is rather pathetic for regular use and the lack of pass through charging is a big drawback. Users should also be aware that the bottom of the unit is quite magnetic (it holds the mesh cover in place) wich is neither good or bad, just something to be aware of. Overall it works well, the glass stays fairly unobstructed even with cooler water and heavy use. That being said I wouldn't really recommend it for heavy daily use, however it's great for light to moderate Users and works well for a get together with friends.

I just got it, it’s great but i still haven’t seemed to figure it out. I can’t get milky hits and it seems to lack in a lot of areas and needs improvements such as the sticky carb cap getting stuck to the magnetic thing on the chamber.

25 seconds?!?
Too short of a heat time. Peak Pro goes up to 2 minutes, there's no way you can efficiently finish your dab within only 25 seconds. Flavor is good and hits are decent, but needs to have another minute or so added to the unchangeable heating time.

Heating sessions are short, very short. Even on the second setting it scorched the concentrate. Very small vapor clouds, made me think I hadn't taken a hit. Poor execution of a decent design.

Spend the extra money on A Carta or Puffco Pro
This thing is a headache. the air intake bubbler has such a thin wall that you'll need to clean this glass about every other use or else it will clog and you will watch your concentrates burn away without being able to consume.

I tried the Puffco Peak Pro
The utillian 8 was my first dab rig and was amazing at first. Then I tried the puffco peak pro, and the Utillian 8 was dethroned. I believe that the price of the Utillian will keep it relevant in the market. I think this is an excellent device for those getting started with concentrates. Nevertheless, as my expertise grows I think the peak pro is the ultimate device for the extract connoisseur.

I was really excited when I first ordered this. It hits great but I realized after taking a few hits, that the rig gets dirty really quickly and oil will run down the outside of the atomizer. There isn't a way to clean the tube that goes from the vapor chamber to the glass part either. Also I didn't read before I purchased that the atomizers are $60 to replace and typically last a month under 'heavy' use. I've been hesitant to use it since I can't afford to replace the atomizer and each use requires much more cleaning compared to other similar pieces.

It's really weird that the session time is so short. The design of this is way better than the Focus V Carta (**way** easier to clean and more aesthetically pleasing) but the short session times are pretty annoying, usually requiring at least 2 to finish.
