How it Works

To get started, rapidly press the Gammatron’s power button five times to turn the device on. The LED lights seen during start-up indicate the battery life of your device. You’re good to go if you see one to three dots, but if you see three dots that blink five times, you’ll have to charge your device. We at TVAPE always recommend running a sanitation cycle, aka heating your bowl on empty. Then, remove the mouthpiece tool, and place your wax onto the opposite end of the mouthpiece. When you push your mouthpiece back into place, the tool and the wax will be in the right spot, just above the element, ready to be heated. 

The last step is to set your temperature by triple-pressing the power button, and before you know it, you can begin your highly-portable session. 

Vapor Quality

This device can provide some serious clouds, especially at the highest temperature. While you’re advised against overfilling the heating chamber, you’re still able to get big, dense clouds that almost rival heftier devices like the Utillian 5 V3. This comes from the Kanthal Glass heating element, which helps to provide flexibility in both flavor and vapor density. You get the pure taste of glass with the power of kanthal. This style of heating element also helps prevent “blind spots” in your bucket, which are areas where the heating element fails to heat, leading to wax buildup. This ensures that every last drop of your extract is used. We recommend briefly soaking your heating element in alcohol after a few sessions if flavor is important to you. The Gammatron also features a heat cycle voltage calibration, which is enabled when the power button is pressed and held. This minimizes overcooking flavors while ensuring that none of your precious wax goes to waste in the heating process. Temperature Flexibility

The Gammatron uses three white LEDs on the side of the device to indicate which level you are currently on. You can change voltage settings by tapping the power button three times. One LED indicates 2.7 Volts, Two LEDs for 3.0V, and three is 3.3V. Remember that there is a degree of voltage calibration that happens automatically in the background to optimize the heat and preserve the battery. The Gammatron’s instant heat-up time can produce flavorful vapor that can compete with some mid-ranged bucket wax pens like the Utillian 2.

The mouthpiece is made of zirconia, so there is no concern about the mouthpiece overheating or flavor distortions. Flip it over, and the mouthpiece turns into the wax tool of the device! Other cheaper devices use chrome-plated copper or plastics that can accumulate residue quickly as they cannot be cleaned as effectively.
