You Should Buy the Davinci ARTIQ 10mm Water Tool Adapter If…
You should buy the Davinci ARTIQ 10mm Water Tool Adapter if you want a cooler, smoother draw than the stock mouthpiece gives you, or if you already own a 10mm water piece and want to pair your ARTIQ with it.
How to Use the Water Tool Adapter
The Water tool adapter has the exact same base design as the mouthpiece, so it fits flush with the top cap. All you have to do is remove the current mouthpiece and then place the adapter in the same spot where the mouthpiece was. Then simply find a compatible 10mm bubbler and hook it up to the end of the adapter.
Here's how to use the ARTIQ with a bubbler in a quick step by step:
- Remove the flat mouthpiece from the ARTIQ.
- Press the water tool adapter into the same opening as the mouthpiece.
- Insert the adapter’s end into the water bubbler.
- Power on the ARTIQ and draw through the bubbler.
What Actually Changes When You Add Water
Water filtration is generally used when a softer draw is needed. Vapor that is filtered through water not only cools down in temperature, but it's also literally less particle dense (which is why its less harsh). The tradeoff is flavor. Water literally absorbs some of the terpenes, so hits through a water bubbler are just not as intense as dry sessions.
Checking Your Water Tool's Joint Size
This adapter is sized for 10mm female joints only, and it won't seat properly in a 14mm or 18mm joint without a separate step-up adapter. Check your water piece's joint size before buying so you're not stuck picking up a second adapter just to make the fit work.
