- Wax Cup for Concentrates
- On-demand mode
- Session Mode
- Built-in Stir Tool
- Precise Temperature Control
X Max has designed the V3 Pro as an update to the V2 Pro, the newly updated device features a small hybrid heating system that functions predominantly with convection. The V3 pro delivers decent-quality vapor but can start to become harsh when pushed closer to its temperature limit of 200°C. X Max included a cup-shaped attachment for those who want to use wax. The vaporizer itself is on the lower end of the performance spectrum as its overall build quality does not compare with similar price range units like the Tronian Milatron. With that being said, you can always check out our best Budget Vaporizer Ranking page to find a value vaporizer that fits your needs.

You should get the X Max V3 Pro Vaporizer if…
Microdosing is something you are interested in, and you need a device that can be carried anywhere. Using a case or purse is recommended since the V3 Pro is slightly too long to fit comfortably in your pocket. The removable battery feature is also a decent touch for those looking for extra portability. The smaller heating chamber, however, may lead to more frequent swapping of batteries, especially if you are sharing or are an experienced connoisseur.
Faster Heat-Up Time
The X Max V3 Pro can heat up in as little as 15 seconds, whether in session or on-demand mode. With a temperature range of 100°C to 220°C and precise 1° control, this device can offer some options in terms of vapor production and flavor. Keep in mind that with the V3, lower temperatures are recommended for longer sessions to help keep your vapor cool. If you want to maintain higher temperatures during your sessions without your vapor getting too hot, we recommend a wider device that can house more robust cooling elements like the Utillian 620.
Session or On Demand Modes.
The X Max V3 features the option between on-demand or session mode. The on-demand mode will only heat up as you maintain pressure on the power button. On the other hand, session mode can be used to automatically heat the V3 to your set temperature. If you are more of a one-hit type, then on-demand is what you're looking for; if you want to have a sit-down session, turn the V3 back to session mode.
Hybrid Heating Style
X Max implemented a hybrid heating style for the V3 Pro, primarily using convection with a few conduction elements, allowing this device to quickly create vapor. That being said, drawing out your sessions for too long is not recommended with this device since the ceramic cooling element tends to warm up fast when used frequently.
Beginner friendly
The easy setup system and simple controls make the V3 Pro fairly decent for those who are just getting into vaporizing. The V3 Pro also offers a built-in tool that is placed on the mouthpiece, we recommend waiting a few minutes in between sessions till the heating element is cool enough to use the plastic tool. It's important to mention that beginners who vaporize often may want to try a budget device with a bigger chamber like the Utillian 421, which can hold up to 0.3g of dry herb.
