How to Set Up the Chugga-Jug 2.0
Your attachment goes in the side joint, and you draw from the top, so setup depends on which style you prefer. Here is a step by step guide:
- Fill the bubbler with water, starting low and adding more once you know how your setup draws.
- Fit your bowl or attachment into the female side joint, using the 14.4mm or 18.8mm size depending on which version you ordered.
- Adjust your water level up or down between sessions until the draw resistance feels right.
Tuning Your Water Level to Your Setup
With the Chugga-Jug 2.0’s design, you can fill the water to different levels depending on the experience you want. If you use minimal water, you’ll get little draw resistance and an emphasis on the flavor of your material. If you fill it with more water, you’ll get a cooler pull with more vapor conditioning and a slower draw overall. Being able to tailor your experience to how you want it is a major benefit of the Chugga-Jug 2.0.
What Changed in the Chugga-Jug 2.0
We redesigned the 2.0 to be more stable for people using heavier gear. A substantial heater, along with thick cables on a bubbler, is very prone to tipping and falling over. Crossing increased the bubbler’s base to 12.5cm, lowered the center of gravity, increased the thickness of the support arm, and deepened the 18.8mm joint. The new design addresses many risks of the bubbler tipping over.
