You Should Buy the BOMB Erig Aerix Glass Top If…
You should buy the BOMB Erig Aerix Glass Top if you have a chipped, fully broken, or heavily stained glass top that won't clean properly.
How to Replace the Bomb Aerix E Rig Glass Top
Swapping the glass takes no tools, but the device needs to be cool first. Here is a step-by-step guide:
- Step 1: Power off the Aerix and let it cool completely before handling the glass.
- Step 2: Detach the old glass top from the base.
- Step 3: Line the new glass top up with the base and seat it until it locks securely in place.
Why Side-Entry Airflow Keeps the Glass Cleaner
For most traditional Electric Dab Rigs, air typically enters the chamber through a hole in the bottom, meaning the base of the glass sits on top of the atomizer. That space is where reclaim can pool and harden, and it can be difficult to reach and clean. For the Aerix, the side walls have a hole where air and vapor travel through, meaning there’s less reclaim build-up towards the bottom.
Cleaning the Bomb Aerix Glass Top
To clean the glass top, BOMB recommends using 90% or higher isopropyl alcohol. It’s also recommended to let the device fully cool down before you start cleaning. After wiping the glass top with alcohol, let it air-dry before placing it back on the device to prevent moisture from damaging the atomizer underneath. Wiping the coil after each session will prevent buildup.
