The Zenco Duo Vapor Cup is a great device made by Zenco, a new Manufacturer focusing on the Vapor Cup Category. This Vaporizer allows users to sip on vapor like a drink rather than take a hit. The unit balances style, functionality, and performance with a well-rounded & robust design. 

Featuring a Triple Quartz Heating Element as well as a Ceramic Option, this vapor cup is quite good at vaporizing various types of Wax and 510 threaded concentrates. It has one of the larger battery capacities on the market and only comes off as second-best after the Omegatron Vapor Cup. A stylish design, mixed with the single-button operation, makes this Vapor Cup a joy to use for both: beginners and experienced users.

How it Works

Navigating the Zenco Duo Vaporizer is a breeze once you understand how it works. Here’s how to jumpstart your session:

• Load your wax: Insert concentrates into the Triple Quartz/Ceramic heating element or attach your 510-threaded cartridge by screwing it in where your heating element would go.
• Turn On: Quickly click the main button five times.
• Choose Voltage: Scroll through voltage options by rapidly pressing the touch button 3 times. The LED light integrated around the touch button displays the chosen voltage.
• Initiate Vapor Production: To manually activate the heating element, hold the touch button or double-tap to enable the auto fan, which activates the heating element for 30 seconds.
• Cease Vapor Production: When you’ve reached your desired vapor amount, release the button.
• Enjoy: Bring the cup to your mouth and start “sipping.”

Temperature Flexibility

The Zenco Duo Vaporizer features standard voltage settings as seen on many of its Vapor Cup Competitors. The versatile settings allow you to fine-tune your sessions based on your preference. The device offers four voltage settings ranging from 2.5v to 4.0v, indicated by the LED situated around the touch button. The color-coded voltage settings of the Zenco Duo are:
Yellow = 2.5v
Blue = 3.0v
Green = 3.5v
Red = 4.0v

Each setting alters the flavor and density of the vapor. Generally, lower settings yield more flavorful but thinner vapor, while higher settings produce larger vapor quantities with slightly less flavor profiles.

Vapor Quality

Users can expect an exquisite stream of smooth yet dense flavor-rich vapor. The device’s Triple Quartz Heating Element ensures efficient heat generation that will provide full-bodied vapor. On the other hand, users that prefer flavor over quantity can also try the Ceramic Heating Element, which provides a more even generation of heat for slightly more flavorful vapor. In the current Vapor Cup market, the Omegatron is the only Vapor Cup that distinguishes itself by providing a Glass Core Heating Element that produces higher-quality vapor.

The quality of the Vapor does not reach Electronic Dab Rig levels like what the Utillian 8 or Carta 2 can output because these feature a more advanced 3D Heating Chamber. That being said, the results are quite decent and good enough to have your vapor stay in the cup for you to sip at your own pace.

As with most Vapor Cups, Zenco offers a compatible Hydrator Cup, which is sold separately. Hydrator Cups, also known as Bubblers, allow water filtration during your sessions. The filtered vapor will be smooth and pleasant, but keep in mind that the drinkable vapor experience is different. Hydrator Cups, like the Pulsar Sipper,  come with an extra hole needed for inhalation. The vapor will escape your Cup far more through this hole than the Waterless option. Not to mention, while passing through water, your vapor will become more hydrated. Generally speaking, the bubblers are better suited to take a “hit” rather than sit back and “sip” on your vapor. It’s just a different experience, whichever you prefer, is best for you. 

 Don’t be surprised if you just get the hydrator cup separately after a few weeks or months, as it is an easy way to add more fun to your Zenco Duo. 

Manufacturing Quality

Where the Zenco Duo really shines is in its manufacturing quality. Its high-quality build and attention to detail are apparent in every element, from the durable base design to the beautifully crafted glass. 

The Duo Vapor Cup is one of the better-quality and looking Vapor Cups available on the market, and its elegant design makes it an attractive device to use. The device feels slightly sturdier than some others in its category when it comes to the base components. 

When it comes to the Heating elements, these are pretty much the same as seen on other Vapor Cups like the Hidr8 Ola or Pulsar Sipper. The standard Triple Quartz can be used for High Vapor Output, while the Ceramic can be used for more flavorful Vapor. 

In a general sense, the Zenco Duo is one of the better-built devices in the category but also comes with a heftier price tag. 

Battery Life

The Zenco Duo comes equipped with a hefty 2200 mAh battery – a feature not commonly seen in this category. The decently sized battery of the Zenco Duo ensures long sessions without the need for frequent charging. 

As an all-around safety measure, the Duo features an auto-off function that adds a layer of convenience and protection by automatically powering off the device after a period of inactivity. When it comes to recharging, the device uses USB-C charging, making it convenient and quick to power up whenever needed.

The USB-C port is at the front instead of the back, making it easier to read the color settings while charging. The unit doesn’t support pass-through charging, which would be convenient with the tabletop approach to its design. Nevertheless, Its quick charging shouldn’t keep you waiting for long.

Ease of Use

The Zenco Duo has a pretty straightforward approach to its vaporizing process. It features a one-touch button system that controls the power and temperature settings and the auto fan feature. The single button will take time to get used to since different button-pressing patterns result in different functions:

–Pressing 5 times rapidly = Turn On or OFF
–Pressing 3 Times Rapidly = Change Temperature Setting
–Pressing 2 times rapidly = Enable 30 Second Auto Fan

Your average Vapor Cup won’t be as easy to operate as a standard Wax Pen device, but once you get the hang of the slight learning curve, the Zenco Duo becomes quite straightforward. Your temperature settings are displayed using colors that can be seen on the outer ring right around the button.

Overall Experience

The Zenco Duo Vaporizer seems to have been designed with a very aesthetic focus. It seems to us to be the coolest-looking Vapor Cup launched so far. Its high-quality construction, impressive battery life, and decent vapor quality combine to deliver a great quality device that enthusiasts will undoubtedly appreciate.

When comparing the device’s overall ease of use and vapor quality, we notice that it’s not as good as the Omegatron Vapor Cup, which offers a Glass Core Heating Element, but it is definitely Runner up in terms of its build attributes.
