How Xvape Fog by Xmax Vaporizer Works?

Pack your bowl with about 0.05-0.25g, it’s best to not overfill as the convection heating will not work as effectively. There’s a slope around the chamber which makes loading easy, lightly tamp it down afterward.

If you are using concentrates you can use the included concentrate pad, in conjunction with the highest temperature setting. You will know that the vaporizer is heating up because the green lights on the device will start blinking.

Once the lights are solid, you are ready to vaporize at your leisure.

Temperature Flexibility

Similar to the crowd favorite Utillian 722 , the Fog uses the traditional one-button arrangement which means all the actions operate through a series of button presses. Three presses will turn the device on and off, holding the button down will adjust the heat setting to the next highest temperature. Precise tempeature like the one seen on the Xmax Starry v3 vaporizer is nowhere to be found on this device though so just keep that in mind.

Hold the button for 5 seconds and you should see the device start cycling through temperatures 1 to 5. Release the button on the temperature you would like to use. The Fog has been reputed to have excellent draw resistance, creating a comfortable and natural inhalation.

Vapor Quality

It’s great that such a small unit produces such a smooth vapor. Thanks to the hybrid heating technology, the vapor produced by the XVAPE Fog is dense and quite delightful.

Your vapor will be thoroughly enjoyable using this device, a full range of delicious flavors from your herb or concentrate will envelop you. However, we feel that flavor could have been improved the vapor path was made of glass, like we find with the Arizer Solo 2, which users tend to prefer.

For best results with the XVAPE Fog, it is recommended to take longer, slower draws – you’ll be rewarded with astonishing vapor clouds.

Manufacturing Quality

The XVAPE Fog has been built with a minimalist approach, having few moving parts. The mouthpiece/cap is magnetic as opposed to screwing onto the base, this allows for quick load time and easy maintenance.

The one thing we will note about the Fog, and it seems to be a theme with smaller devices like the Davinci IQC and Arizer Go, the XVAPE Fog can get very hot if you use it for more than a 10-minute session. Especially if you are using it at higher temperatures. This happens most along the side where the heating chamber is.

Battery Life

The battery life of the XVAPE Fog is quite decent, roughly 30-45 minutes depending on what your battery of choice is. The Fog is powered by a 2600 mAh removable 18650 battery which gives it a hefty charge. While the Arizer Air 2 has one and a half-hour of battery life with just a single battery.

This means you can easily plan ahead and stock up on batteries for long travel excursions which means you have to worry about a dead vaporizer again.

The XVAPE Fog conveniently uses pass-through charging so you can use it while it’s plugged in making it an exceptionally convenient vape to have around.

Portability

This anodized aluminum made vaporizer has a stainless steel heating chamber and the mouthpiece is built with jewelry-grade ceramic. This material is not only durable but contributes to a nice and smooth draw.

This device has a nice, sleek and luxurious feel and contains absolutely no plastic parts, easily replaced attery, USB pass-through charging, and easily adjusted temperatures are all fantastic features of this vape.

The only thing that could make the portability better is if it was as small as the LITL 1 Vaporizer.

Ease of Use

If you have not used a vaporizer before this will be exceptionally easy for a first time user. It’s not as straight forward as the Zeus Arc GTS Hub, which is one of the easiest, but its not bad. Under the lid is a two-compartment filter that helps to trap any particles that may try to sneak out and with the vapor.

Turning on this device is simple, press the power button three times. Selecting your preferred temperature is effortless as well, simply hold the button and release.

The XVAPE Fog is easy to clean, most of the parts such as the chamber and the mouthpiece can be cleaned with alcohol wipes which can be purchased inexpensively.

Discreetness

The XVAPE Fog is an extremely compact and handy vaporizer, it is definitely portable and you can easily carry it in the palm of your hand. Compared to many other vapes this device is quite small, making it conveniently slid into a pocket or a bag just like the Utillian 421 vaporizer. However, 421 comes with a digital display where XVAPE has the indicators only.

This vaporizer also produces very little smell when used, and its smooth design makes it effortless to clean so unwanted odors won’t cling to it.

Overall Experience

At the end of the day the XVAPE Fog is a decent entry model vaporizer. Vapor production is pretty decent for the price point and the removable battery option is always a welcome addition. If there is a price factor, most users choose something like the Flowermate Slick, which offers much better vapor at a more affordable price.

The device does get quite warm during operation, some may not be bothered by this but some may find it too hot for their liking especially if you enjoy using your vaporizer at higher temperatures.

If you are interested in the XVAPE Fog we suggest you also check out the Utillian 722, this convection based unit does not have the issue of getting warm during use and even gives the Crafty plus a run for its money.
