With today’s vast array of affordable 510-threaded batteries available for oil cartridges, Tronian brings in a contender for the budget segment in the form of the Tronian Pitron. Tronian is fairly new to the market and a lot of people might raise their eyebrows at their products but we’re here to give you a lowdown on their most affordable offering – the Tronian Pitron.

How it Works – How to use the Tronian Pitron

Using the Tronian Pitron could not be easier – attach your preferred 510-compatible CBD or oil cartridge to the device, make sure that the battery is charged, and draw from the mouthpiece to start your vaping session.

In order for you to use the draw activation you need to get cartridges that support draw activation, which is the majority. The draw activation of the 510 battery only works with cartridges that have a small opening at the bottom of the thread. So you should pay attention that the cart comes with this. The battery has a sensor that detects the reduction of pressure through this small opening upon inhalation and then is being activated.

There is a LED indicator at the bottom of the battery that lights up to indicate that the batter is being activated and the device is powering the heating element to provide you with an ample amount of vapor and flavor.

Manufacturing Quality – How does the Tronian Pitron Feel?

The Tronian Pitron’s design is extremely simple being a cylindrical tube and is able to handle any diameter of 510 cartridge.

The Pitron has no buttons to speak of, works by inhaling and is way smaller than most 510 unit on the market.

With the top part housing the 510 thread and the bottom part having the micro-USB charging port and LED indicator, everything feels solid to the touch and there is nothing out of place to distract you from its one-dimensional aesthetics.

Power Flexibility – Does the Tronian Pitron offer variable voltage or temperature control?

The straight answer is no, it does not. And you shouldn’t expect it to do so at this price point.

However, it is properly calibrated to handle a wide range of oil viscosities so you should not have any issues when using this device to vape with your favorite 510-compatible CBD or oil cartridge.

The 350 mAh battery in the Tronian Pitron is rated for a maximum wattage of 4.2 volts so it should be able to handle most, if not all types of viscosities that you have in your CBD or oil collection. Just make sure that the batter is always adequately charged.

Ease of Use – How easy is the Tronian Pitron to use if you are a new vaper?

Extremely easy – this is probably the aspect where the Tronian Pitron really shines.

There is no learning curve to use this device. Attach your preferred 510-compatible CBD cartridge (it works best with TRONPODs – which are sold separately), make sure the battery is properly charged, and vape away on the mouthpiece. It’s that simple.

And this kind of experience is what I would recommend to those new to the vaping scene.

There is no need to fuss over what voltage or temperature to use, the device is properly calibrated to deal with vaporizing the oil in your cartridge.

You just have to inhale and you should get a pleasant vaping experience throughout your session.

As for cleaning and maintenenance, the Pitron doesnt really need much although the occasional wipedown with some wipes from the Zeus Purify cleaning kit definitely wont hurt.

Portability – How convenient is it to take the Tronian Pitron out and about with you?

It’s very convenient and very portable. This is another situation where the Tronian Pitron has a huge advantage over other vaping batteries.

Something like the Tautron offers a bit more protection for your cartridges, but isn’t universally compatible like the Pitron.

What’s not so great in the portability aspect is the Tronian Pitron’s 350 mAh battery – it is adequate though given that this is not a high-wattage device.

This battery should be able to last you half a day if you vape it semi-frequently, or more if you are the type to only have quick vape breaks throughout the day.

It does include a micro-USB charging cable and it’s easy enough to plug it into your computer, a power bank, or any USB outlet and it is able to charge quickly enough (around an hour or so) that the battery life will be a non-issue for most users.

Unless you are always out in the wild with no power bank or any other power sources to speak of. Although having a dedicated carrying case such as the Zeus Armor might be helpful if you plan on bringing along a few accessories.

Tronian Pitron discreetnessDiscreetness – Can you use the Tronian Pitron for Stealth Vaping?

Of course, this is also a strong point of the Tronian Pitron. With its small footprint and cylindrical shape, it is very easy to conceal within an average user’s hands and vape away – just make sure you are not exposing the LED illumination at the bottom of the device whenever you are vaping it.

The compact stature of this device even warrants it a spot as your secondary vaping device if you already have a bulky full-featured battery or vaporizer.

Tronian Pitron ReviewOverall Experience – So, is the Tronian Pitron worth your money?

If you are looking for an affordable, basic, universally compatible, no-nonsense battery for your 510-compatible oil cartridges – then yes, this device is one of the best vape pens available and is worth every cent of your hard-earned cash.

And it doesn’t even ask for much. With its exceptional portability and classic design, the Tronian Pitron earns its spot in my recommendation list for budget-friendly batteries.

Just keep in mind the limitations of this device; it has no wattage or temperature control and limited battery capacity. If you have made peace with that, then this device deserves a spot in your pocket.

If you want a device that will protect your cartridge a bit more but at the cost of universal compatibility for cartridge diameter, maybe consider the Tautron. Another great option for those who just want to dip their toes into vaporization is the Alfatron disposable 510 battery.
