TinyMight Vaporizer Review – From Finland with Love

Updated: December 29, 2023

The TinyMight is a new and exciting vaporizer made in Finland. They’re a brand new company and are looking to test their mettle in the world of portable vaporizers. It features a removable 18650 battery, convection heating, and a lightning-fast heat up time. There are lots to love about this device, but let’s dive in and see if it stands up against other devices used for vaporizing medical cannabis.

How it Works

As with any device, we highly recommend charging it fully before your first use. Next, remove the glass stem and load your herb into the chamber at the bottom of the stem. Replace the stem, then turn the unit on. There are two modes you can choose from when turning on your TinyMight, on-demand, and session mode.

If you’d like to have on-demand heating, press the power button 3 times rapidly to turn the unit on. The light at the bottom of the device will flash to indicate that the unit is on. Then, select your temperature using the dial at the bottom of the device and press and hold the button when you are ready to inhale.

If you prefer the session mode, press the power button 3 times and hold down on your last press. Then inhale as you see fit.

I would highly recommend keeping on on-demand mode as I found this to be the best way to use the device. And who doesn’t want vapor at their whim?

Temperature Flexibility

The TinyMight has 10 temperature settings as indicated by the dial on the bottom of the device. The temperature range is from 120-240C or 250 – 460F.

We recommend you go anywhere over 4, as temperatures 1-3 are not hot enough to vaporize your herb. I’ll get into more detail in the vapor quality section below.

Vapor Quality

The vapor quality of the TinyMight is great. It heats up in under 5 seconds, which is seriously impressive. There is a lot of variation in the temperature settings – I found that setting 4 is where things start getting good.

You’ll get a relatively strong hit with great flavor and you can really taste the terpenes of your herb. As you increase from there, the flavor starts going down but the vapor will keep pumping.

I usually keep it around 6, as I find that is the perfect blend of flavor and vapor – but play around with it and see which one works for you. Settings 9 and 10 are a bit harsh, the only solution I could come up with is running it through a water piece.

You may have noticed that inside the stem of the device are two stainless steel cylinders. These are the cooling units, designed to cool the vapor down before it hits your throat, and they do a decent job!

The hits are pretty potent off of the TinyMight. Once you pass setting 6, they can knock you on your ass pretty quick. I found it mildly dangerous to rip this guy through the water piece, as it will certainly sneak up on you.

A quick stir between bowls with the tool at the bottom of the device will certainly help an even cook. I found without the stir, the cook was very uneven. The shallow bowl might give you some trouble when you stir, as I spill almost every single time, just a heads up.

Fans of precise temperature control will not enjoy the device, however, as they cannot dial in an exact temp that’s right for their vaping experience. If you fall into this category, check out the Utillian 620.

Manufacturing Quality

The manufacturing quality of the TinyMight is simultaneously impressive and not so much so. I love the cooling unit, the glass stem, and the fact that it is made of environmentally friendly parts. Solid oak? Nice touch.

It is built solidly, and the glass stem fits perfectly into the device. The cooling unit inside the stem is another nice touch that certainly helps the vapor quality.

However, the rattle that sounds the entire time you’re using the device is pretty annoying, as you can hear it very clearly. It might seem like a trivial note, but it’s fairly important to me, as especially after a hit or two, I fixate on the noise every time.

Other than that, it is a well-built device.

Battery Life

The TinyMight has a removable 18650 battery that will last you just under an hour of battery life before needing a recharge. You can recharge the device through the micro USB port (can we please start using USB-C?!) at the bottom of the device, but I would recommend picking up an extra 18650 battery and charging them outside of the device so you never have to wait for charge times.

I found unless you have extra batteries the battery life of the TinyMight is not great. If you’re looking for something with a hefty battery, definitely check out the Utillian 722, its 2300mah battery will not let you down anytime soon.

Portability

In terms of portability, the TinyMight is a little bit larger than your average portable device. It’s not unwieldy, but it sits in a range with the Crafty Plus and is certainly larger than the Zeus Arc S Hub. The battery life on the TinyMight also pales in comparison to the Arc’s 3500mah internal battery.

That being said, the unit will definitely fit in a pocket or bag, I just might be a little worried about the glass stem breaking. If you carry around an extra 18650 battery, this would be great for a weekend. As it stands, I would recommend taking it out for a single night, and no longer.

Ease of Use

The Tinymight is fairly simple to use. 3 clicks to turn it on, and then press and hold for on-demand heating. A quick stir between bowls will keep you on the right track, and loading is as simple as loading the Solo 2.

There is a learning curve to getting the best vapor, and it definitely takes a couple of tries to get it where you want it to be.

Discreetness

The TinyMight is relatively discrete. It’s a little large to be completely hidden by your hand – if that’s your thing, I would advise against this device. It feels perfectly at home in the woods but will stick out like a sore thumb in the city.

That being said, the TinyMight heats up real quick, so if you can keep it low key, you can certainly take a stealthy rip and shove it back in your pocket before too many people notice.

Overall Experience

The TinyMight is a good vaporizer with its on-demand, quick heat up vapor. I really enjoy the fact that it is made out of environmentally friendly parts. I like this unit, except for that rattling noise; it’s pretty noticeable and I can’t stop focusing on it once I’ve heard it.

In our detailed review of the TinyMight Vaporizer, we explore its unique features and performance. While the original TinyMight has set a high standard in the world of portable vaporizers, those interested in the latest iteration of this device might want to consider the Tinymight 2 Vaporizer. The Tinymight 2 builds upon its predecessor’s success with enhanced features and an even more refined vaping experience. It’s a great option for users seeking the latest advancements in portable vaping technology.

If you put the time and work in, however, TinyMight can definitely pump out some seriously tasty vapor. I’d recommend this device for a true connoisseur who wants something a little more complex to add to their collection. For something a bit less complex and equally effective, check out the Utillian 722 Vaporizer.
