How it Works

The Source Nail XL Sig2 Kit works with 3 Series Atomizers, 4 Series Atomizers, XL Series Atomizers and XXL Series Atomizers.

The kit includes six high quality nails and each one offers a unique way to enjoy your wax concentrates. There is also a quartz carb cap and dab nail to help you dab just the amount of wax you want into the atomizer.

The attachments are 510-threaded and they are constructed using medical-grade materials.

One of the best things about using a Source vape is that you can upgrade your existing ones and use the attachments in different ways as per your preference to create huge and robust clouds.

After you have set up the vape pen, take a little wax in the dab tool and place it inside the atomizer. Now press the power button five times to switch on the device. You can see the coil turning red. Cover the atomizer with the magnetic carb cap and you can see the clouds forming. You may use the glass attachments for a more enjoyable experience and start vaping.

Temperature Flexibility

We appreciate the real temperature control offered by the Source Nail XL Sig2 which enables you to choose your preferred temperature for your unique dabbing style. You can set any temperature ranging from 200F to 700F something similar offered in Source Orb 4 Signature Kit but with temperature range going up to 900F.

This amazing temperature range allows you to go from small and powerfully flavored sips to the incredibly huge dabs. You can pick the most favorable temperature for your waxy oil concentrates.

After you have set the desired temperature, the vape pen will heat up in 7 seconds and be ready to give you flavorful and intense clouds.

Vapor Quality

We expected big hits with the Source Nail XL Sig2 and it did not disappoint us. We enjoyed the purest aroma and intense flavor which lasted for really long.

The bubbler that comes with the kit conditions the vapor to give you smoother hits and the glass attachments gives you more time before it cools, preserving the flavors and aromas. Users who want to enjoy the same or nearly the same experience with a smaller device tend to prefer the Utillian 5 (V3).

Manufacturing Quality

The 15mm atomizers are one of the largest eRig nails available in the market. They are 270 percent larger than the standard models such as the Puffco Peak, hence you get a lot of surface area to use more concentrate and allow even heating.

The 13mm atomizers are 170 percent larger than the 10mm models. The six nails that come in the kit are made from superior quality quartz, titanium, and ceramic.

The glass attachments are beautifully designed with medical-grade materials to give you a traditional experience with modern convenience.

Battery Life

The vape pen comes with a variable wattage sub-ohm battery that allows you to easily set the desired temperature to enjoy a flavorful session like the Focus V Tourist that too has precise temperature control ranging from 464 F to 842 F . The mod has a magnetic cover for easy replacement of batteries. So, you can always carry extra batteries for extended sessions.

The Source Max box mod battery gives you the freedom to choose from a temperature range between 200°F – 700°F. You can also select full wattage control with a range of 5w up to 70w, based on the battery cell consumed.

Portability

This device certainly is portable and compact despite not being a traditional ‘pocket’ vape like the Linx Blaze.

You won’t be fiddling around with a mountain of parts or wires as it’s designed to be brought from the place easily. It sits comfortably on a desk or table as well.

If you’re going on a short trip, a hike or a bike ride you should be able to throw it in a small bag for outside hits.

Ease of Use

The different options for atomizers give users a lot of freedom to customize the way they want to enjoy their vaporizer but could easily overwhelm the beginners.

Setting up the device is extremely easy and takes a few seconds for a connoisseur. If you are a beginner then it might take you some time to get a hang of it. New users tend to prefer devices with lesser options such as the Linx Hypnos Zero that comes with just coil option.

Overall Experience

The Source Nail XL Sig 2 Kit is designed with the true wax connoisseur in mind. This kit is not going to be for everyone and if you are just starting out you may want to start with a pen unit like the Evolve Plus.
