CCell Palm Review – Palm Muting

Updated: March 26, 2024
Coming out of seemingly nowhere, the CCell Palm has developed quite a reputation and for good reason. This little battery is small, simple, takes 510 atomizers, and can pack a huge punch! We’ve checked out the CCELL Silo, so let’s check out what we think about the CCell Palm in our review.

Review: CCell Palm

Manufacturing Quality

For the price, you wouldn’t expect much from CCELL Vapes. Though it’s nothing outstanding, it feels great in the hand and doesn’t feel cheap by any means. I’ve seen plenty of cases of failed units, but also many that have kept chugging on through plenty of abuse.

In the box is a very basic kit consisting of just the Palm, magnetic thread adapters, and USB charging cable. Not much you can expect for such a low price.

Users looking for units with a high-performance, premium 510 vape battery usually tend to prefer devices like the Vessel cartridge battery. On that note, if you’re hunting for a unique vaporizing experience, the Vapor Cup offers an innovative approach, allowing users to sip vapor like sipping water, showcasing comparable battery life suitable for extended indoor sessions. Moreover, the vapor cup can be a showstopper at parties, blending function and style seamlessly.

Power Flexibility

Unlike the Yocan Hive 2.0, the Palm doesn’t really have any temperature control to speak of. The CCell Palm runs at a voltage of 3.7v, though the resistance (measured in Ohms) of your selected cartridge will make a difference.

Though it’d be nice to have some temperature control, we can’t complain much with how inexpensive the Palm is.

Battery Life

The CCell Palm has 550mAh of juice packed inside. Nothing mind boggling as we have some units like the Smok Micare having 700 mAh battery, but you’d have to be a madman to drain all 550mAh in a single day. In general, you should get about 0.25 grams of hits from your atomizer before needing a hit.

The MicroUSB will top up the Palm in less than an hour. Fairly standard but effective!

Ease of Use

Magnetically attaching atomizers and draw-to-activate like the Yocan Uni Pro. About as simple and brainless as you can imagine. Pass it to a friend, tell them to take 4-second hit, super simple.

Cleaning isn’t necessary as it’s the cartridges that just get swapped out.

Portability

It’s TINY! Palm is surely a deserving name and you’ll probably forget it’s even in your pocket throughout the day.

While it doesnt have the pen-style form factor of the Yocan Stix, it’s plenty pocketable.

One of the best small oil batteries for sure. If you are looking for something that completely protects the cartridge check out the PCKT One Plus.

Overall Experience

We (and many others) really like the CCell Palm for good reason. It’s puny, packs a mean punch, and just works real well!

Affordable, portable, hide-able and any other word that ends in –ble you can think of, the Palm does it.  We also love how the cartridge is concealed inside the body, giving you a little more security in case you drop it. Shattered oil carts suck!

While it strays away from the typical vape pen form factor, we’re tempted to put this on our list for one of the best vape pens available right now on the market,
