How it Works<\/h2>\n

As with any device, we highly recommend charging\u00a0the device fully before your first use<\/strong>. Next, press and hold the (M) and (+) buttons to turn the device on. In classic Arizer fashion, the countdown initiates, and the Arizer smiley face pops on the screen. Next, use the glass stem to scoop your herb into the chamber. Then place the stem into the top of the device and adjust your temperature using the plus and minus buttons on the side of the device. Wait for it to hit the temperature, and you\u2019re good to go. You will know when the device has reached temperature because the device will beep twice. Press and hold the (M) button to turn the device off. <\/span><\/p>\n

Here is a step-by-step instruction, how to use Arizer Air Max<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Turn the Arizer Air Max on by pressing and holding the (M) and (+) Buttons.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Load the Glass Stem with your material<\/li>\n
  3. Place Stem into device and Set desired Temperature<\/li>\n
  4. Wait for the device to beep twice.<\/li>\n
  5. Inhale from the mouthpiece.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Temperature Flexibility<\/h2>\n

    Using the classic Arizer system, the Air Max has full temperature control<\/strong> from 40C to 220C<\/strong>, which is an excellent spread that covers all flavor profiles and at 220<\/strong>, gets you a very good level of extraction<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

    You can adjust these temperatures by using the up and down arrows<\/strong>. I\u2019d recommend starting at 180 and temp stepping in 5-degree increments in order to extract your herb fully.<\/span><\/p>\n

    In keeping with the Arizer standard, the vapor is cool and powerful when it hits your lips. The Air Max has an Advanced Ceramic Hybrid Heater<\/strong>, which heats rapidly (in under a minute) and features precise 1-degree temperature control<\/strong>. It also features an isolated airpath<\/strong> and an all-glass vapor path<\/strong> for fresh air and smooth and tasty vapor.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Vapor Quality<\/h2>\n

    This unit’s vapor is cool and powerful<\/strong> when it hits your lips.     In practice, the vapor quality is the same as previous Arizer models<\/a>, which is not anywhere near bad. It sticks with the standard that Arizer has set, and I can\u2019t say enough about the vapor quality of this device. This dry herb vaporizer can chuck clouds at higher temperatures<\/strong>, and the flavor is great at lower temperatures<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n

    Manufacturing Quality<\/h2>\n

    Arizer is known for its excellent manufacturing quality<\/strong>, and the Arizer Air Max is no exception. Arizer has made some excellent upgrades to this version of the Air. Not only is the device built with \u201ccarefully sourced high-quality components,\u201d but they\u2019ve made the switch to USB-C (which we\u2019ll talk about more later) and is approximately the same portable size as the previous Airs. It also features upgraded custom session settings<\/strong>, including: <\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Dark Mode – press and hold the M and minus buttons together to enter dark mode<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Audio Beep – you can change the level of sound you receive<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Temperature Alert – you can have a beep when the vaporizer reaches the temperature<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Automatic Shut-off Timer – you can change the auto shut-off between 5-15 minutes; the default is 10.<\/span><\/li>\n
    5. Celsius to Fahrenheit – pretty self-explanatory<\/span><\/li>\n
    6. Brightness – pretty self-explanatory<\/span><\/li>\n
    7. Power On Delay – you can change the countdown timer to 2,4,6, or 8 seconds.<\/span><\/li>\n
    8. Automatic Display Inversion – turn the unit upside down, and the display inverts – perfect for water pipes.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Battery Life<\/h2>\n

      The Arizer Air Max is everything you want in terms of battery life. Not only is there a fast-changing USB-C input on the back of the device, but also there\u2019s this massive battery, it\u2019s 5750mah which will last you 2.25 hours of continuous use. It is a 26650 lithium-ion battery, and it is\u2026 a little intimidating.<\/span><\/p>\n

      In practice, I\u2019ve never had to recharge this guy in the middle of the day, and it lasts at least a day every time.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Portability<\/h2>\n

      With its impressive battery life and the<\/span> PVC tubes<\/span><\/a> for your glass stems (sold separately), the portability of this 2nd generation<\/a> device is pretty good. The only thing I would add is a traveling case, something similar to the<\/span> Zeus Armor<\/b><\/a>, because there are multiple parts and I wouldn\u2019t trust them all loose in a bag. Other than that, the battery life is great, I would just anticipate breaking one or two glass stems, and having backups is always a good idea because you can use them as a type of pod system and take multiple along with you. You can also purchase the <\/span>Stemp Caps<\/span><\/a> separately to convert your tubes into extra storage.<\/span><\/div><\/div>

      Discreetness<\/h2>\n

      With the dark mode added to this device, the discreteness gets a lot better; however, the main factor against the discreteness of any Arizer device is simply the glass stem. In terms of carrying the device from place to place, the PVC tubes for the glass stems do a great job and even function as a sort of pod system, although not as streamlined as something like the<\/span> Zeus Arc GT3<\/b><\/a>. You can fill up the glass stems and stick them in the tube to simply swap them on the go as I mentioned before.<\/span><\/p>\n

      For those that want a more discreet yet budget dry herb vaporizer, we recommend taking a look at the <\/span>Tronian Milatron<\/span><\/a> aka the Budget Beast, which provides similar results but does not have a glass stem that sticks out.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Overall Experience<\/h2>\n

      The Arizer Air Max is an excellent step forward in Arizer\u2019s catalog. It bridges the gap between the Air series and the Solo II\u2019s massive battery, which is the best of both worlds. Not only that, but the added features, USB-C capability<\/strong>, and the addition of a water pipe adapter<\/strong> in the base kit make me very happy. I would recommend this device to anyone in the market for a portable vaporizer<\/a> that can pump serious clouds and is ready for extra attention.<\/span><\/p>\n
