How it Works<\/h3>\n

A unique device compared to other e-rigs out there, The Ispire Wand is fairly straightforward to operate. Simply inserting the glass banger cups into any water pipe is half the story. Insert your waxy concentrates into the cup and fit The Wand over the dish.<\/p>\n

For the easiest operation simply \u2018cold load\u2019 the wax into the dish and double click the power button to engage automatic heating.<\/p>\n

In manual mode, you can adjust the temperature using the corresponding buttons, fit the wand over the fitting and begin heating it up. After which all you need to do is inhale like you would any other wax rig and use the carb cap to increase the density of the hit.<\/p>\n

Temperature Flexibility<\/h3>\n

<\/span>
\nFull temperature control, no apps, no presets, with 450-800\u00b0F (232-427\u00b0C), you\u2019re given a nice and wide range to play with. Adjusting in 5 degree increments using either of the two buttons, it\u2019s a very simple and effective user interface.<\/p>\n

The Ispire Wand allows you to easily find the perfect temperature setting for your concentrates and one thing they\u2019ve done very right on this device. The Ispire induction heater does a bang up job of producing great results straight out of the box.<\/p>\n

Alternatively, you can use the automatic mode which also does a great job and offers a very balanced vapor profile. We found it to be ideal and coming back to it frequently – well done!<\/p>\n

While you can use the dry herb with The Wand, the very high lowest temperature, unfortunately, inhibits its potential and leads to a very dense yet not so well-flavored hit. Hopefully, there will be an update to add lower temperature settings. <\/div><\/div>

Vapor Quality<\/h3>\n

What can we say? It works great!<\/p>\n

Depending on the quality of the concentrates and the temperature you choose to hit it from, you\u2019re going to get results anywhere from light and fully flavorful to robust and overwhelmingly powerful.<\/p>\n

However, it\u2019s no secret that many e-rigs these days such as The Core<\/a> and Puffco Peak Pro<\/a> achieve excellent results as well, albeit in a different form factor.<\/p>\n

A more suitable comparison would be to the G Pen Connect<\/a> which is also a device designed to turn any water pipe into a functional e-rig. We would say that The Wand offers superior vapor quality to many devices, but isn\u2019t the end-all and be all for e-rigs. High-tier indeed, but hard to compete with pure quartz or SiC setup.<\/p>\n

Manufacturing Quality<\/h3>\n

Very thoughtful and well-engineered, The Ispire Wand is the first portable induction e-rig we\u2019ve seen so far. The build, finish, aesthetic design, and quality of components is definitely up there!<\/p>\n

In the box you\u2019ll get The Wand, 1 each an angled and a straight banger, two inner cups, a carb cap, USB-C charger, cleaning tools, gigantic hard case, dab tool, tripod, and a user manual.<\/p>\n

All in all, it\u2019s a well-flushed-out package and the only thing you\u2019ll need is a 14mm compatible water pipe to get going. <\/div><\/div>

Battery Life<\/h3>\n

<\/span>
\nTwo 2900mAh 18650 batteries linked up in parallel are excellent for multiple reasons. With excellent power output and the ability to swap the cells out in a heartbeat, we\u2019re always fond of seeing the 18650s in any portable vaporizer. This is one of the only e-rigs out there which has removable 18650s at all!<\/p>\n

Not to mention USB-C charging which charges at a rate of 5V & 2A, the cells will charge up fairly quickly in approx. 3 hours.<\/p>\n

The star of the show is the induction heating module. The most thermally efficient heating method out there, this device brings a solid battery life of ~12 sessions per charge and also has USB-C pass-through charging.<\/p>\n

We feel very satisfied in the battery life department and are very impressed with how well thought out it is. <\/div><\/div>

\n\"Ispire<\/span><\/p>\n

Portability<\/h3>\n

You can definitely bring it around and the hard case is great for taking it around, however, it\u2019s quite a bit of kit to get set up with. We wouldn\u2019t say it\u2019s portable in the way that you can bring it to the park and hit it, but portable in the way that it can be taken around the house and brought to a friend’s place with ease.<\/p>\n

Ease of Use<\/h3>\n

There is definitely a bit of a learning curve involved, considering how different it is to other e-rigs and wax vapes. However, it\u2019s remarkably simple once you use it a couple of times and easy to achieve consistent results.<\/p>\n

The included tripod is nice for hands-free operation and while it feels clunky at times, it really makes the whole device feel like a weapon of wax destruction. Load, double click, and carb – about as easy as it gets. <\/div><\/div>

Discreetness<\/h3>\n

No hiding it, this thing is definitely unconventional in every sense. With out without the tripod, if you\u2019re using this in public then you can expect some attention and stares.<\/span><\/p>\n

Evidently, this device wasn\u2019t made for discretion or stealth and as such is best suited to circumstances where those factors aren\u2019t a consideration.<\/span><\/p>\n

Overall Experience<\/h3>\n

A magic wand? Definitely different and a new concept, but it absolutely works well!<\/p>\n

Keep in mind that it\u2019s quite different from a conventional portable e-rig or wax pen. Less portable however more versatile, it\u2019s better suited towards those who do their concentrates at home.<\/p>\n

If you like to use your own glass pieces and are searching for a unit to convert any bubbler into an e-rig then this is a seriously strong contender. If you\u2019re looking for hits on the go then we\u2019d recommend something else like the G Pen Roam.<\/p>\n

Overall it\u2019s a great unit and an excellent device to consider for certain people. It\u2019s definitely not the single best e-rig out there, but it surely comes close in performance!<\/p>\n
