The torch is a staple for anyone who uses the Dynavap regularly, as it was the only way to heat your device up for a long time\u2026<\/p>\n

In stride Dynatec\u2019s new induction heaters which change the game for everyone using a Dynavap device. An induction heater is an alternate way of heating up your Dynavap without using a torch – we\u2019re going to go over a comparison between torches and induction heaters later in the post. Read on to learn more!<\/p>\n

How It Works<\/h3>\n

Without getting into too much of the science – an electric current sent through the induction heater to your dynavap causes it to heat up to the right temperature. Check out our article on best temperatures for vaping<\/a> for more info.<\/p>\n

\"Dynatech<\/p>\n

The Dynatec Apollo 2 plugs into a wall outlet. There’s a power switch on the back of the device that allows you to turn the device on – this will illuminate the green LED. Fill up your Dynavap with herb, then press your Dynavap inside of the heater. It will go red when you do so. Wait for the click, inhale and enjoy!<\/p>\n

The Dynatec Orion is a portable induction heater that comes in a great travel case. Press the power button on the side of the device 3 times rapidly to turn it on and fill up your Dynavap with your chosen herb.The Orion has intelligent activation, meaning you do not have to press the device down, you just have to place it inside the device. The LED will blink, then you\u2019ll hear the Dynavap click – then simply inhale and enjoy!<\/p>\n

Dynatec Apollo 2 Review<\/h2>\n

\"Dynatec<\/p>\n

The Dynatec Apollo 2 is an excellent device for those who stay at home while using their Dynavap. It plugs into a wall outlet, has rubber feet on the bottom of the device to prevent slipping, and simply looks beautiful.<\/p>\n

It also features a magnet on the top of the device, just like the Dynastash, which allows you to store (and cool) your Dynavap in between hits.<\/p>\n

\"Dynatec<\/p>\n

If you\u2019ve never used the Dynastash, simply place your Dynavap on the small magnet on the top of the device and it will cool down faster. Wait for the \u201cde-click\u201d (the cool down click) and then you\u2019re free to place your Dynavap back into the heater.<\/p>\n

I would highly recommend this device for anyone who stays at home and wants to step their Dynavap game up.<\/p>\n

Dynatec Orion Review<\/h2>\n

\"Dynatec<\/p>\n

The Dynatec Orion is a portable induction heater that comes in a great travel case. It is light, and super small, coming in at 4.4\u201d x 2.3\u201d x 1.3\u201d. It is an excellent, pocket sized device perfect for taking your Dynavap sessions on the go. It’s not as convenient as aZeus Arc GTS Hub<\/a>, but it does allow you to use your Dynavap out more easily. You can get approximately 50-60 hits per charge – the Dynatec Orion has a 1000mah battery that will charge in about 90 minutes. It also features USB-C charging which means if you\u2019re looking for a quick top up on the go the Orion has you covered.<\/p>\n

The Dynatec Orion has intelligent activation, which I touched on before, but just wanted to reiterate. It\u2019s an excellent feature that means you have to do very little, simply place the device inside the heater for it to start heating up your Dynavap.<\/p>\n

\"Dynatech<\/p>\n

The LED on the device is in the shape of a VapCap, which is just a nice little touch that is definitely appreciated. The Dynatec Orion has a 7 minute auto shut off that helps preserve battery life – I would also recommend turning it off between draws to help keep your battery nice and juiced up. It also will stop the heater after 10 seconds of heating just to make sure you don\u2019t combust.<\/p>\n

One important thing to note: the Orion will not charge in an outlet over 5V & 2A. Just so you\u2019re aware.<\/p>\n

Possibly the coolest feature of the Dynatec Orion is that the click is sent through the entire device, making it a great option for visually and hearing impaired users.<\/p>\n

\"Dynatech<\/p>\n

It takes roughly 5-7 seconds to heat up – the first draw you take will be a little light on vapor, but subsequent draws can pack a serious punch. You don\u2019t necessarily have to take the Dynavap out as soon as it clicks, however, if you leave it in for a couple extra seconds you can get some serious clouds. The vapor quality through an induction heater is, in my opinion, better, but we\u2019ll get deeper into that in the pros and cons section below.<\/p>\n

The Pros and Cons of Induction Heaters<\/h3>\n

\"Dynavap<\/p>\n

Pros<\/h4>\n

Induction heaters will give a better overall flavor in my opinion due to the even cook throughout the device.<\/p>\n

They also eliminate inconsistencies by providing that even cook like you get from a convection device like Utillian 621<\/a>. There\u2019s no variability from torch technique, including angle, how close to the device you are holding the torch, and how you rotate the flame.<\/p>\n

Possibly the biggest upside is the ease of use of an induction heater – it heats up in seconds and is incredibly simple for anyone to just pick up and use.<\/p>\n

\"Dynavap<\/p>\n

Cons<\/h4>\n

You will overall get denser clouds when using a torch, due to the fact that you can get as close as you want to the Dynavap. That being said, holding the device inside the heater can certainly help in that department.<\/p>\n

Some could argue that a torch and your Dynavap is more portable than an induction heater, although the Dynatec Orion does combat that pretty dang well.<\/p>\n

DynaTec Orion vs DynaTec Apollo 2<\/h2>\n

If you love you Dynavap and are getting tired of filling torches or replacing broken lighters, then yes absolutely either of the Dynatec induction heaters would make your life a whole lot easier.<\/p>\n

However, some people prefer the control they get with a torch and won’t find much use for the induction heater. But overall, we are a fan and recommend these to whoever picks up a Dynavap vaporizer!<\/p>\n
