Review: Cannador Humidor

How it Works<\/h3>\n

Using a humidor isn\u2019t exactly rocket science. Depending on the size of the Cannador you have, you\u2019ll get different amounts of jars. Fill the jars with your respective herbs and use the\u00a0nifty little-slotted lids to control how much air you want going to your herbs.<\/p>\n

There are two ways to humidify your herbs in the Cannador either with vapor beads, which are cool little high absorbent beads that can be reused and hold the proper relative humidity. The only problem with vapor beads is that too much moisture and they can form mold. The other option for keeping your herbs fresh in the Cannador is Boveda humidity packs, which I personally prefer.<\/p>\n

You will want to season your Cannador before using, just simply use a clean cloth and distilled water and gently wipe the inside of the box, making it easier for the wood to accept the humidity.<\/p>\n

If you opt for the Blustream Hygrometer, then you\u2019ll also be able to monitor the humidity and temperature with the respective smartphone app.\"Cannador<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Manufacturing Quality<\/h3>\n

The pictures don\u2019t do it justice. Beautifully crafted and precisely made, it adds a touch of elegance to the entire experience. It feels sturdy, strong, weighty and reliable. Each bezel and joint was skillfully worked and the expertise really shows.<\/p>\n

Surely you expect top-notch build quality at this price point, and the Cannador definitely doesn\u2019t disappoint. As the old saying goes: You get what you pay for<\/p>\n

The addition of a lock also gives you peace of mind, especially if you have people you don\u2019t want around your stash like children or nosy friends.<\/p>\n

I really like the magnet on the inside of the lid that can hold your vapor beads and humidity packs and even the jars are high quality. They even provide you with airtight lids in case you want to remove your herbs for a weekend and keep them fresh on the go.<\/p>\n

Users tend to prefer Cannador Humidor so that they can enjoy the flavor and aroma of the herbs to its fullest especially when they have a pricey vaporizer like the Mighty Plus<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ease of Use<\/h3>\n

Of course, the Cannador isn\u2019t exactly what you consider to be difficult to use, the hardest part is the initial setup and seasoning. Once your moisture packs are set and the humidor has been seasoned, which will take about 3 days, it’s as simple as monitoring your humidity levels and filling the box with your collection of herbs that can later be enjoyed with your vaporizers such as the Zeus Arc GTS Hub<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It does what it advertises! It keeps you bud fresh and at the perfect humidity. While some say there\u2019s not much difference in herb stored at different humidities, it\u2019s hard to deny it didn\u2019t have an effect on the flavor and scent. I could definitely taste the full profile of my herbs from my Utillian 723<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The terpene profile is better preserved leaving you with a very rich end product and an overall more enjoyable experience. Not to mention your herbs don’t over dry to the point where it turns to dust.<\/p>\n

The double baffle also works well at keeping humidity in and any odor from escaping the confines of the humidor. A nice feature of course for those who don\u2019t like their room smelling of pungent herb all the time.\u00a0<\/div><\/div>

For those who enjoy the \u2018ritual\u2019 of vaporizing or smoking their herb, it adds a nice touch and makes the experience feel even more special. It\u2019s a much fancier alternative to stuffing a mason jar with humidity packs!<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re someone who deeply enjoys the flavor and aroma of boutique herb, then the Cannador\u00a0Humidor will definitely bump that up a notch! It\u2019s not a must-have item by any means, however, if you have the cash to spend and really want to spoil yourself, you won\u2019t be going wrong with this wonderfully crafted humidor!<\/p>\n
