How it Works<\/h3>\n

After decarboxylating and grinding down your herb of choice, place them into the stainless steel pod before setting that into the top of the infuser. Add the amount of oil\/butter the recipe calls for into the reservoir before setting the temperature and duration.<\/p>\n

After this, it\u2019s as simple as pressing the start button and waiting for the timer to run down. Once it\u2019s complete, dispense the end product into the container you\u2019ll be storing the infusion into, at which point it\u2019s ready to be used in your cooking!<\/p>\n

If you use a vaporizer like the Utillian 723<\/a>\u00a0and save the finished herbs you can actually use that with the Levo Pod to infuse oils as the act of vaporization does the decarbing for you.<\/p>\n

Manufacturing Quality<\/h3>\n

The Levo is brilliantly designed with solid parts that all fit and feel well. To add to that, it\u2019s very aesthetically appealing and won\u2019t make your kitchen look like a science experiment. It can be compared to a coffee maker in the same way as the Yocan Evolve Plus<\/a> is compared to a marker.<\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s no doubt in my mind that they spent plenty of time carefully engineering and designing it, and those efforts didn\u2019t go to waste.<\/p>\n

Ease of Use<\/h3>\n

Though the Levo infuser was marketed to be a simple, streamlined process, it still leaves a little bit to be desired in the ease of use category. Unlike the MagicalButter<\/a>, you\u2019ll need to grind, decarb and dry your herbs out properly before using the Levo to get optimal results.<\/p>\n

This in itself takes a couple of hours to do, which makes the quick & easy selling points a bit redundant. This adds more steps to the cleaning process and overall doesn\u2019t make the product any simpler than other choices.<\/p>\n

Cleaning it, on the other hand, is rather easy, with the few important pieces coming out and can just be thrown straight into the dishwasher.<\/p>\n

Note: The Levo Oil Infuser can be used without decarboxylating your herbs beforehand, but the end product won\u2019t be nearly as potent. <\/div><\/div>

Performance<\/h3>\n

If you\u2019ve properly ground, dried, decarboxylated, and rinsed your herbs, then you\u2019re finally ready to get the results you\u2019ve been waiting for.<\/p>\n

You won\u2019t be able to make ultra potent butter as the maximum capacity of the pod is only ~5 grams of dry herb. If you\u2019re looking to make large batches of powerful edibles, the Levo might not be the right one for you. You can, however, re-use the end product from one cycle and \u2018re-infuse\u2019 that oil again with a fresh batch of herb to double the potency. This works reasonably well!<\/p>\n

The end product is very flavorful, consistent and definitely potent. It seems to be quite efficient with the material that you use, which is a bonus that offsets the initial cost of investment. Still, I struggle to find a difference in the quality of the end product between the Levo and other, less expensive infusers. The overall performance does not justify the price as we see many units such as the Volcano Hybrid<\/a> seem to justify by over delivering their promise.<\/p>\n

Between decarboxylating and the process of the infusion itself, there is a very powerful odor that\u2019ll be emitted. Keep that in mind if discretion is something you value. <\/div><\/div>

Overall Experience<\/h3>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re looking to prepare smaller quantities of high-quality oil, the Levo oil infuser might be the right pick for you. If you\u2019re looking to make large batches of edibles or you\u2019re a heavy consumer, I\u2019d recommend looking elsewhere.<\/p>\n

I find there are better, easier solutions on the market that work just as well for less. They might not be as aesthetically pleasing, but they certainly give similar results.<\/p>\n

For the occasional consumer, it\u2019ll do the trick, however, I can\u2019t help but feel as though it leaves something to be desired.<\/p>\n

With automated grinding and decarboxylating, it\u2019d be a different story and it\u2019d quickly become one of my favorites, however, that\u2019s not the case and I can\u2019t say the Levo offers any particular benefits over other units.<\/p>\n
