Vaporesso Drizzle Review – A Dollop of Vapor

The Vaporesso Drizzle certainly isn’t lacking in this department thanks to its rock solid construction. Vaporesso’s streamlined signature design also makes itself visible in this mod evident by the excellent finishing on the exterior of the device.

Available in a satin black or stainless steel colorway, it’s hard to go wrong with either option. The exterior doesn’t show off any aggressive lines or edges, nor does it include any flashing RGB lights meant to capture the attention of potential onlookers. Discreet, stylish, and classy are the words that come to mind when describing the overall look of the Drizzle.

When comparing the Vaporesso Drizzle to other box mods which include a more extensive feature set, you’ll see that the Drizzle is a lot more simple in design and operation. Utilizing a single power button to activate and shut off the mod, it’s perfect for beginners since the simple operation is likely to attract the less seasoned vapers out there.

The firing button is outlined by an LED light used to indicate the remaining charge on the 1000mAh battery. The firing button is well built, offering a clicky and tactile feedback on every press, making vaping on the Drizzle satisfying and comfortable.

The tank which comes included in the kit utilizes a standard 510 connection and can be easily removed by threading it off. This enables easy swapping between other atomizers which is great if you want to experiment with different tanks or drippers.

The 510 connection on the body of the Drizzle itself is spring loaded and the included tank sits perfectly flush on top of the device, leaving no gaps whatsoever. 

Vaporesso has always been on the forefront of developing the best ceramic coils and bundling them in their kits and the Drizzle is no exception. Two EUC coils are included in the kit, one of which is a 1.3-ohm ceramic coil head.

Another 1.4-ohm coil is also included but uses kanthal instead of ceramic to vaporize e-liquid. Both coil heads offer superior wicking thanks to the inclusion of organic Japanese cotton and this also lends extra longevity to the lifespan of each coil head as organic cotton takes a lot longer to break down when exposed to heat.

Flavor production on each of the coils is excellent with special mention to the ceramic coil head. The flavors come through crisp and clean with every puff. Vapor production is more or less within reasonable expectations, considering the Drizzle vapes at a higher resistance hence less e-liquid is vaporized compared to lower ohm coils.

It doesn’t get any simpler when it comes to using the Drizzle. A single button is used to fire the mod at a fixed wattage. 5 clicks turn the device on, and another 5 clicks to turn it off for safe storage. The LED indicator flashes to indicate the change in power status.

When it comes to refilling the included tank, Vaporesso is keeping it simple by using an easy and hassle-free top fill design. Simply thread off the top cap and drip your desired e-liquid down into the Pyrex tank, NOT the actual coil chamber as this will result in flooding the coil head and the end result will be a gurgly vape. The tank has a maximum capacity of 1.8ml which is more than enough for mouth to lung style devices and depending on usage, you can easily get by on one or two full tanks in one day.

It’s hard not to recommend the Drizzle to newbie vapers. The elegant and solid construction coupled with the mods reliable performance makes it an almost instant buy for anyone looking for their first vape kit. Vaporesso also has a reputation for manufacturing devices that stand the test of time, unlike other devices that eventually fail over time due to weak internal circuitry that degrades over time when exposed to heat.

The only demographic I wouldn’t recommend the Vaporesso Drizzle to are those looking for a more powerful mod with plenty of vaping options. But for those looking to make the switch, the Vaporesso Drizzle is a great all-around option.
