Manufacturing Quality

In line with almost every other CCELL vape, the CCELL Dart takes a very no-nonsense approach when it comes to the overall look of the kit. Packing a jet black finish that feels smooth yet is slightly textured to the touch, the CCELL Dart exemplifies the ideal characteristics of an ideal stealth device with its small form factor design and subtle yet sleek design. It reminds us a bit of the Smok Novo.

Featuring an almost arrowhead-like shape with the pod/mouthpiece tapering off towards the end, the mouthpiece feels quite comfortable when pressed against the lips making it convenient to use even when it comes down to longer vaping sessions.

Thanks to the magnetic assembly that connects pod to the body of the CCELL Dart, not only is the device simple to set up but also feels sturdy when held in hand.

Other pod-style devices that use a clip-on design to attach the pod to the mod eventually loosen or fail after some time but the magnetic design of the CCELL Dart definitely feels like it can withstand the test of time even with some heavy use.

In lieu of an actual display, the Dart uses a standard singular LED indicator to relay information about the device such as battery life and its current status.

Flavor Quality

While some of the older CCELL based devices gave us issues with clogging or flooding, we’ve yet to recreate the same issue on the new CCELL pod system used by the Dart.

The Dart has also shown to be consistent and reliable with its vaping output, never missing a cue when taking a puff so you’ll definitely be glad to hear that misfires just arent a thing when vaping with the CCELL Dart.

Power Flexibility

With the CCELL Dart being a compact pod-style device, there definitely shouldn’t be any expectations in regard to various and multiple vaping modes. Just like the JWell La Carte, as a starter kit, the CCELL Dart vapes straight and true.

Aside from the lack of variable wattage settings or a customizable temperature control mode, there aren’t any settings for vaping in low, medium, or high settings, making the CCELL Dart your typical barebones pod-style device.

Firing on command or at least as soon as you take a puff, its probably one of the most responsive draw activated firing systems we’ve managed to test and the button-less design is a definite plus point for newbie vapers who don’t want to bother with the standard learning curve involved when operating more complicated kits.

The magnetic assembly connecting the CCELL pods to the Dart itself makes setup, assembly, and maintenance a breeze as the magnets hold the pod snugly enough so that they don’t come too easily but are easily detached with a simple pull.

The fill ports are also easily accessed and large enough to accommodate a large variety of bottles which is a definite plus for vapers to prefer to store their e-liquid in larger gorilla bottles.

Portability

The CCELL Dart is impressively tiny, being only slightly larger than your average USB flash drive. With dimensions measuring out to 73 * 29 * 13 mm, it easily fits into any pocket. However, it is still larger than the Bo Plus.

The slim and streamlined design devoid of any jagged or sharp edges makes the CCELL Dart one of the more convenient pod-style devices to use especially for “touch-and-go” vapers that tend to take out and store their device a lot more frequently than the average vaper.

The 480mAh battery also gives the CCELL Dart almost double the battery life of the Pax Juul, with the Dart lasting at least a full days worth of vaping before requiring a recharge. CCELL states that a full charge offers around 200 puffs before the battery gets depleted so your mileage may also vary depending on how much you vape.

Overall Experience

While the CCELL Dart doesn’t exactly bring anything new to pod-style devices, the more than marginal improvements it holds over the competition make it a worthwhile option for any beginner looking to pick up a great performing starter kit.
